Elisabeth Hasselbeck Takes a Healthy Stand

Elisabeth0404.jpg
Elisabeth Hasselbeck may occasionally get outnumbered on her daytime talk show, The View, but the one place she doesn?t want to get too outnumbered? Her house!

?Three is perfect for us,? she tells In Touch, referring to her children with her husband, Tim, while hosting More Magazine and Fitness Magazine?s 8th annual Women's Half-Marathon to raise money for Celiac Disease research, an autoimmune disease that she has. ?We?re outnumbered, but we can still sort of manage with a zone defense, and four might just put us over the edge.?

Elisabeth has made it a priority to inform women about a gluten-free diet and Celiac Disease, including writing a book, The G-Free Diet, and running in an all-women?s marathon was the perfect way to further her cause.

?I?ve been surrounded by strong women my entire life. My mom?s a wonderfully strong woman, I?ve been on a team my whole life, and now I work with incredibly strong women every day,? she says. ?I?m all about the girl power!?

She even developed a gluten-free protein bar called Nogii, that she says was the key to her stellar marathon performance!
