Dudamel set at L.A. Philharmonic until 2019
Music News: Popular conductor renews contract with orchestra -- Gustavo Dudamel -- the charismatic Venezuelan conductor who has been filling seats at the Hollywood Bowl and Disney Hall since taking over as musical director of the L.A. Philharmonic in 2009 -- just had his five-year contract extended through the 2019-20 season, which marks the orchestra's centennial.
